Austin pilot finished suicide note at 00.42 a.m. Thursday
February 19th, 2010 - 2:41 am ICT by BNO NewsAUSTIN (BNO NEWS) — Details from the suicide note left on the website of Joe Stack, the pilot of a small plane which slammed into an Austin office building on Thursday, revealed more information about the days leading up to his act.
Document details of the suicide note - which was posted on embeddedart.com - showed Stack made the final adjustments to his note at 00.42 a.m. Austin time, about nine hours before he crashed his plane into an IRS office building in Austin.
It also showed that the document, which had 2,676 words, was revised at least 27 times since it was first created on Tuesday afternoon. However, Stack may have used another text editing program before starting to work on his final version on Tuesday.
Stack’s website was taken down around 2.30 p.m. EST.
