At least 32 people die in northeast China coach-truck collision
May 23rd, 2010 - 6:28 am ICT by BNO NewsSHENYANG, CHINA (BNO NEWS) — At least 32 people were killed in a coach-truck collision early Sunday morning at an expressway section in Fuxin City of northeast China’s Liaoning Province, state-run media reported.
The four-lane expressway linking Tieling and Chaoyang cities in Liaoning was undergoing a road maintenance at the time of the crash, which happened in the early morning hours.
The state-run Xinhua news agency reported that Chen Zhenggao, the governor of Liaoning, is on his way to the accident site to oversee the rescue work.
It was not immediately clear if anyone survived the accident.
