At least 50 injured after train crashes into New Jersey platform
May 8th, 2011 - 8:43 pm ICT by BNO NewsHOBOKEN, NEW JERSEY (BNO NEWS) — At least 50 people were injured on early Sunday morning when a passenger train crashed into a platform at a New Jersey train station, emergency services reported.
The accident happened at around 9 a.m. local time when a PATH train crashed into a platform at Erie-Lackawanna Park & Lackawanna Terminal in Hoboken. Emergency services said a mass casualty incident has been declared, and a triage center has been set up at the scene.
