Washington Township, Mar 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Washington Township Police Department has said that an arrest has being made in the infamous Wal-mart ‘All Black People Leave’ case. The Washington Township Police Department announced the arrest on their website, and they also added that the police with the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s office will provide more details about the arrest at a news conference.
It may be recalled that in the New Jersey Wal-Mart store, an announcement was made over the public-address system that said, “Attention Wal-Mart customers: All black people leave the store now.” The announcement was made by a male, and witnesses said that he made the announcement in a very calm and composed voice. The customers, who were present in the store at that time, were horrified and they couldn’t believe their ears.
The management of Wal-mart later apologized to all the customers, and said that the incident was simply unacceptable. The company spokesperson Ashley Hardie said that the inappropriate announcement was simply ‘unacceptable’. After this incident there was a big hue and cry amongst Wal-mart customers and many of them pledged to boycott the store, as they were unhappy with the incident.

This is an arrestable offense??
Would seem this is an “infraction”
IF anything. Laughable.
But, in this ZWO it doesn’t surprise. If it had been “All white people must leave the store”… it would have been totally ignored, as this should have been.

At most this might be disorderly conduct….It also show’s you how stupid some people get when they want to boycott for some ignorant person’s comment. the kid does not ever work for WalMart.
Personally, I think it’s pretty funny to see just how people react when they “think” they are “offended”. There is nothing in the constitution or law that protects us from being offended.

It is an arrestable offense at best, considering it was a juvenile (which should have been a no brainer)a serious repremand with future consequences would have done fine. Have we become so thin skinned that we can’t take an absurdly unrealistic P.A. prank by a kid as the obvious joke that it was. Come On! Get over it and get on with life.

The problem is that it wasn’t all white people leave the store. White Americans were not kidnapped. They came here of their own free will. Moreover they were not raped and tortured at the hands of whites. After blacks gained their freedom, they were treated like outcasts and denied equal rights. Not as the people who helped to make America the strong nation it was in the past. Even still black’s contributions are not equally represented in the school history books. Blacks with equal education and experience as whites are denied jobs and earn less pay. They pay more for loans and goods and services despite their credit ratings. When taken in that context, it is offensive and difficult to laugh off.
