Shark Tank Wedding April Pignatro and Michel Curry had a different and a unique wedding, as they took their wedding vows in a tank, that was infested with sharks. At the ‘different wedding’ the couple was placed inside a steel cage into a water tank infested with sharks to take their wedding vows.

The couple became man and wife, in front of the sharks at the Atlantis Marine World in Riverhead, N.Y, on Sunday. At the ceremony the bride was dressed in traditional white, only this time around, it was a white wet suit. The groom was dressed in a black wet suit.

Both April and Michael are experienced divers and they wanted their wedding to have an element of adventure in it, so they opted for the shark wedding. They also had radio headgear, through which they were able to communicate to the minister who was fortunately not inside the shark-infested tank, but standing outside. 75 guests witnessed the shark wedding.

Philip Pignataro, who is father of April, said that, “While looking at the place, they were excited. They wanted to be a little different.” Meanwhile Robert Lanieri, who is the Director of Food Services at Atlantis, said that, “When April and Michael told us they were looking for something different, I knew immediately they would love our Shark Dive wedding.”
