Annie Le: Possible Suspect Being Questioned
September 16th, 2009 - 12:01 pm ICT by GDBy Gina Gomez
It has recently been revealed that the body that had been found within the campus of the Yale University on Sunday, had indeed been that of the missing Yale doctoral student Annie Le. Annie’s body was found after almost a week (6 days to be precise) of a massive manhunt that had been launched by the police almost immediately after her disappearance on Tuesday last. The search ended on Sunday at about 5 p.m., when her found was found in a building in the campus, very tragically, on the same day on which she scheduled to get married to her fiance.
Piling up evidences seem to indicate quite clearly in what seemingly appears to be an insider, within the Yale University grounds, to be involved in the death. According to the some reports, it appears that the lab technician of the research lab where Le used to attend, is the primary focus of the authorities presently. It has been reported that the suspect had been detected in a polygraph lie detector test, which he had failed. Also, he seems to have marks on his body, which resemble defensive injuries, that he has been unable to explain to the police.
It has also been reported that he had harbored some romantic feelings towards Annie, which she had not reciprocated. Authorities are investigating now, whether the murder was committed as an act of vengeance. Formerly, the fiance as well as a professor was thought to have been a suspect, but now have been cleared and ruled out. However, no official arrest has been made by the police yet.
