July 23, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Anna Chapman, the Russian secret agent is back on the soil of the United States, this time as a toy in the hands of the American public. Prominent manufacturers of dolls, Herobuilders.com have managed to create two different models of the fiery haired Anna Chapman. They are priced at $29.95 each.

One of the models is known as the ‘Predator’ is a muscular creature wearing a white singlet and high waist jeans. A revolver figures prominently in her left hand. The second model is much more feminine in appearance and has been named aptly as the ‘The Spy I could Love’. She is seen wearing just a tartan skirt and nothing else.

The beautiful Anna created news when she was deported from the United States following the exposure of a spy ring operating secretly within the country. Her topless photos taken by her husband then surfaced on the Internet and created a sensation.

The manufacturers are pleased with the results and have revealed that they have been receiving a lot of orders. Most of the orders are expectedly for the topless version. Anna Chapman now shares the platform with other action dolls created by the same manufacturer. Significant among them are the dolls of Barack Obama, Sarah Palin and Bernie Madoff. Palin had so far proved to be hit but the president of Herobuilders hope that Anna Chapman dolls would remain popular as a long term good seller.

He further added that he felt compelled to re create her in plastic when he saw the way she had captured the imagination of the general public. However, she will certainly have to work hard and graduate to being a X rated star if she wants to compete successfully with the Sarah Palin doll.
