An 8-year-old boy accused in the shooting deaths of his father and was at the Apache County, Arizona Attorney’s Office for an interrogation and the police released an interrogation video of an 8-year-old boy, who allegedly shot and killed his father, Vincent Romero,29, and another man ,Timothy Romans at his house in St. John’s Arizona. with a 22 caliber rifle.
In the released interview, the interrogation video lasts about 12 minutes, where the boy told the officers that he found the two men dead after coming home from school. He then said he cried for like a half an hour after finding the men.
The boy is being charged with pre-meditated murder and authorities believe that Romero, who was a hunter, may have trained his son in the use of guns for hunting purposes.
The boy’s attorney says his client wasn’t read his Miranda Rights before the interview with police.
But police say the boy confessed to killing the two men.
According to the forensic report and the evidence proves that the boy planned and killed his father.
A hearing is scheduled for the boy Wednesday.
