Burbank, March 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Amy Victoria Beck, the Jordan Middle School teacher came to Burbank Superior Court with her lawyer Michael Williamson to appear before the judge for the first trial of the case on Wednesday, but the hearing has been postponed until Mar 25. She has been charged with five counts of immoral sexual act, of which four counts are for unlawful sex with a minor. She has also been charged with one count of oral sex.

Amy Victoria Beck has reportedly on Monday surrendered to the Burbank Police and has confessed that she had entered into a sexual relationship with a minor student last year. She said that she is confessing out of her conscience, which has been plaguing her for a long period. The teacher who taught English and Social Science at the school for ten years has resigned from her job last Friday, according to reports. The Burbank Police department has kept the identity of the boy secret. However, the boy according to the reports, has confessed that he had shared a sexual relationship with the teacher. The boy’s age at the time of the relationship was reportedly 14. The two shared the sexual relationship last year between the months of March- October.

On Wednesday, Amy Victoria Beck was sent back to jail for the time period and her bail was set at $ 175,000. Michael Williamson has reportedly said that the lady wants to remain in the jail for the time being to avoid the media attention. If proven guilty of the deed, Amy Victoria Beck might have to serve seven years jail term.
