Burbank, March 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Amy Beck is depriving the media from clicking her pictures by deciding to remain behind bars until March 25. According to Amy Beck’s lawyer Michael Williamson, the Jordan Middle School teacher has chosen to remain in jail for the time being to avoid media attention. Amy Beck was to appear for the first hearing in front of the Burbank Superior Court Judge but had to go back to the jail as the date of arraignment was postponed.

Unlike Melinda Dennehy who was charged with only one count of indecent exposure for sending her nude pictures to a student along with a lewd text message, Amy Beck has been charged for five counts. Of the five counts, four counts are for sharing a sexual relationship with a minor and one count for the oral sex that the teacher confessed of having with the minor student. As of now there has been no allegation against the teacher sending any of her personal pictures to the minor student.

The Burbank Police Department has not disclosed the identity of the minor student who had shared the sexual relationship with the teacher. However the boy has confessed to the deed and also identified the lady to be Amy Beck. Amy Beck has resigned from her school last week before confessing in front of the Burbank Police Department. She has said to the police that for the last few months she had been suffering from a guilty conscience due to her heinous act. Her confession has been the result of her guilt.
