The 22-year-old American student was present in court for the first time, after her conviction in December. It ought to be mentioned that Amanda was convicted by an Italian judge for the murder of British student, Meredith Kercher in 2007. And for the murder she was sentenced to 26 years behind bars.

The hearing, which was held behind closed doors, was adjourned to October, because Amanda’s lawyers wanted to apply to a higher court in Italy, to have the judge removed from the case.
