Alexis Hutchinson Denies Deployment To Afghanistan For Her Son

Savannah, GA., Nov.17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) 21 year old Specialist Alexis Hutchinson who is a cook of the US Army was recently arrested as she did not appear in deployment terminal and denied to go to Afghanistan. The lady had confined herself in Savannah’s Hunter Army Airfield so that she does not get parted from his son, which provoked the authorities to start investigation against her. She might get criminal charges if investigation reports prove her wrong. Sources stated, she is a single mother and has denied to go to the war-fronts as she could not find anyone to take care of her son who is only ten months old.
Specialist .Alexis Hutchinson stated that she could not find anyone who would take care of her infant son, Kamani and so she did not have any other choice than refusing to go to the battlefield. Rai Sue Sussman, the civilian attorney of Spc. Alexis Hutchinson said to the media, “For her it was like, ‘I couldn’t abandon my child’”. Sussman also said that Hutchinson was very much worried to think what would happen to her son if she would be deployed to Afghanistan.
Army officials have started investigating the case and Hunter Army Airfield, spokesperson, Kevin Larson, said that he did not have any information about what the commanders have said to Spc. Alexis Hutchinson. Yet, he said that generally Army do not send single parents to overseas if no one is appointed for caring of the child. He also said, “There will be no deployment while this situation is ongoing.”
