wolvesAnchorage, Mar 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The wolves are back in the United States after a long lapse of 50 years. This time the victim is an Alaskan teacher Candice Berner (32), who was mauled to death by a gang of wolves as reported in her autopsy results. The dead body was first spotted by the snow mobilers. The Alaskan state troopers arrived on the spot later. There was a presence of wolf trails all around the body. It’s concluded from the paw prints that the wolves were more than one, maybe 3-4 in number as assumed.

Commenting on the death that took place due to the wolves’ mauling, Colonel Audie Holloway, the Alaskan troop commander said that other than the wolves there aren’t any carnivores alive and prowling in the region. Scared by the incident, the villagers have already put their infants and children behind closed doors. The Alaskan troopers are out for a hunt looking for the wolves in nearby region.

Following the death of the teacher, the Alaskan authorities have issued special orders for a team of hunters in the Chignik Lake area of the Alaskan Peninsula, where the body was first spotted. The hunters are free to gun down the animal on sight. On the other hand, The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in charge of the Alaska Peninsula National Wildlife Refuge, has also sent for a special agent to the village to offer assistance to the state authorities in their investigation. The Fish and Wildlife Service has also approved of a special permission that gives freedom to all state officials involved in the case to overstep refuge boundaries if need arise in the hunt of the wolves.
