Birmingham, May 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) An Alabama geometry teacher was questioned by the Secret Service agents, after he taught his students about angles, using an assassination example. He talked about an example of ‘shooting at the President’ to hammer home the concept of geometric angles to his students. He is a teacher at the Corner High School in Birmingham. The school authorities and even the Secret Service didn’t reveal his name to the media.

According to the Birmingham News, Senior Joseph Brown said that the teacher “was talking about angles and said, ‘If you’re in this building, you would need to take this angle to shoot the president.’” After he said this, the school authorities leant of the poor example and they further notified the local authorities. The local investigative agencies involved the Secret Service, as they thought that this could be a threat to the President Barack Obama’s life. So the Secret Service swung into action, and promptly questioned the teacher. After the questioning they were convinced that he had just used the ‘shooting of the President’ as an example, and had no such intentions to do so. Then the Secret Service dismissed the threat and closed the investigation into the case.
