Air New Zealand to provide ‘cuddle class’ for some more comfort
October 27th, 2010 - 6:48 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattWellington, Oct 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Air New Zealand is providing its passengers more than just a seat.
The airliner has announced that from April 2011, they will offer a “cuddle class” on their selected planes.
The idea is pretty simple. The airline is offering economy class passengers to travel somewhat like business class. It involves booking three seats on a flight and it will be converted to a couch.
The plan will help families and people who want to make their long air trips in comfort. The new arrangement makes room for children who are traveling with their families.
It is not a bad idea considering the stiff competition that exists in the airline industry currently. More companies are folding up and it is only such innovations that will help companies stay afloat.
However the airliner has not announced how much passengers are required to pay to have the experience.
Hope the new arrangement will be successful one as more airliners seek more innovative ways to make passengers travel. With Air New Zealand’s new arrangement, the way families travel will undoubtedly change a lot and it will offer the great opportunity for other airliners to also follow suit.
