Air Berlin starts offering flights to Iraq
February 4th, 2010 - 6:28 pm ICT by BNO NewsBERLIN (BNO NEWS) — Air Berlin, Germany’s second largest airline, will soon start offering flights to Iraq, the airline said on Thursday.
The first flight, with flight number AB3602, will depart Munich airport at 8.30 p.m. local time to Arbil in northern Iraq. Connecting flights will be available from Berlin, Düsseldorf and Hamburg.
While the airline plans to increase the frequency of flights later this year, the service to Iraq will initially alternate between Arbil and Sulaymaniyah airports.
