Afghan government says NATO troops killed 12 civilians
March 14th, 2010 - 6:51 pm ICT by BNO News ( Leave a comment )KABUL (BNO NEWS) — Twelve civilians were killed by NATO troops in two separate incidents in Afghanistan, according to the presidential palace on Sunday.
A statement from the palace said the civilians, which included women and children, were killed in two separate NATO operations in Kandahar and Kunar provinces. No other details were immediately released.
NATO officials did not immediately return requests for comment.
