Abductor Turns Himself In, Missing Nebraska Teen Returns Home Safely

sayAinsworth, July 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Following an amber alert that was issued on Thursday, a missing Nebraska teen was found by the cops. Reportedly, the girl, Melody Rose Martin is 15 years old and was believed to be abducted on Wednesday.

The authorities of Brown County Sheriff informed the media that after the amber alert was issued on Thursday, a 30-year-old man surrendered himself in front of the authorities. Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Dan Johnson told the media that Melody Rose Martin who was also known as Melody Gibbs was found unharmed when Robert F. Olney surrendered. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said that Melody Martin was last spotted on Wednesday. It was also informed that the abductor was taking her to Alabama in a red colored 2007 Hyundai Accent car that had it’s number plates from New York.

After Melody Martin was found, her family members were immediately contacted who arrived at the Sheriff’s office. The officials received a total of 20-30 tips after they issued an Amber alert on Thursday. The FBI was also headed towards Arkansas for investigating the case. The Sheriff Steve Hapner held discussions with the FBI and confirmed that the girl was safe in Arkansas. The last time the girl was spotted was on Wednesday near her residence which is at the south end corner of Ainsworth. The investigator followed the sources of a tip which they received on Thursday. It was just after mid-day when Robert F. Olney turned himself in and made an appearance before the Arkansas Police. FBI spokeswoman Sandy Breault refrained to share any comment on the case.
