ABC’s “20/20″ Goes For Stacey Castor Conviction Case

staceyMay 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Friday night, ABC’s “20/20″ went to dig into the murder conviction case of Stacey Castor who was convicted of murdering her husband David Castor and plotting to kill her daughter Ashley Wallace by intoxicating her with a poisonous cocktail. The two hours special investigative episode that was titled “Black Widow” brought in front of the audience not only the harrowing murder plot of Stacey Castor but also the present situation of the convicted murderer and what she has to say about the whole conviction. The ABC News correspondent David Muir digs into the murder plot and tries to find out the mystery behind the death and whether the claims of innocence made by Stacey Castor have any base or not.

Stacey Castor was charged back in 2007 with second degree murder charge of her husband David Castor and second degree attempted murder of her daughter. In addition to it, she was also suspected by the police of having killed her former husband Michael Wallace. The ABC’s special correspondent was provided access to all the first hand information related to the case and also a special interview with the convicted Stacey Castor. During the interview for the show, Stacey Castor who is at present serving her 1/3-year-to-life sentence in the New York State Prison said that she is innocent and has done nothing wrong. “I did not kill David Castor” she said to David Muir adding that she had also not tried to kill her daughter.

In the show it was mentioned that Stacey Castor is going to appeal the guilty verdict in the court. The new lawyer of Stacey Castor will question the production of the interview details between the police and the accused in the court at the time of trial which led to her conviction.
