Dec 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Erik Gates, the owner of an electric company named ‘Gateco Electric’ met with a tragic death during the last weekend. A freak accident claimed his life. Erik Gates, who was forty-seven year old, was working like any other day and he was accompanied by his colleague. He was perched on the terrace of a building and it was thirty feet high from the ground. When he fell on the ground through a skylight, with a loud thud, there was hardly anyone who expected him to make it through without a chance miracle.

Erik Gates suffered multiple cracks and severe injuries to his chest. After the fatal incident and before he was taken to the hospital for immediate care and treatment, he spoke quite fluently in spite of having suffered a lot of wounds. The critical condition in which he was taken to the hospital, cut short his life and he took his last breath in the hospital. It is a great personal loss for the Gates family. Erik Gates scaled the popularity chart and became a public figure through his appearances in a show called “Mythbusters”, which was aired on the Discovery Channel.

The colleague of Erik Gates is at a loss as to what made his friend meet with this catastrophe. Since he was facing the other way round, he has no clue as to why Erik Gates fell off the roof and met this unfortunate death. Since it is an accident, there will be no further probing into the case of Erik Gates’ death.
