fire59 July 30, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): A man of southern Texas, John Allen Rubio, became the recipient of a death penalty from a panel of judges on Thursday. Four days before, the same panel of judges had found him culpable for capital murder for killing the three kids of his then ‘common law’ wife in 2003. His common-law wife then happened to Angela Maria Comacho. She was handed the punishment of life in prison in 2005 for her involvement in the bumping off of the toddlers. She is entitled to seek parole in 40 years.

It was the second occasion that Rubio has been condemned to death for those massacres. All the unfortunate children, who were massacred by Rubio, were below the age of four. They were slaughtered in a windowless residence in Brownsville. The panel of judges mentioned that the kids were asphyxiated, pierced and eventually executed. Rubio had asserted, prior to the merciless slaughters of the three kids, that he was the individual ‘selected’ to liberate humankind from the ‘possessed’ kids.

One of the luckless tots was 3 years old, while the other two were 14 months old and 2 months old. After the successful liquidation of the third kid, Rubio and Comacho had supposedly washed down and enacted sex.

Rubio had, at the outset, endeavored to plead that he was suffering from lunacy. Defense specialists had identified that Rubio was plagued by paranoid schizophrenia. This ascertainment was not accepted by the prosecution professionals. The panel of judges repudiated this tactic of Rubio and ascertained that Rubio was capable to undergo a legal trial. Rubio purportedly places a picture of the three kids with him in his prison cell.

Ed Stapleton happens to be the defense lawyer of Rubio. Ed was disappointed with the verdict. The defense specialists had declared that the infancy of Rubio was ravaged by drug abuse, poisonous parents, domestic brutality and prostitution. This ruined his mental evolution. The prosecutors, however, were delighted with the pronouncement and stated that Rubio deserved to go to hell.
