Sep 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Today marks the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks that rocked USA few years back. However for some people in the country it is the occasion to celebrate the core values of human life and inspire all to see beyond the barriers of religion and personal beliefs. The New Brothers Restaurant and Deli will celebrate the tradition of holding a ceremony to remember the victims and the people who lost their near and dear ones. It has been reported that the residents of the region will meet at the restaurant venue in the morning at the time when the famous twin towers were hit by the airplanes that created a total mess. There will be music, speeches and prayer as a part of the memorial.

This year’s 9/11 memorial will be memorable as the Danvers will offer a tribute to a late Danvers resident named Karen Martin. Karen martin passed away on that fateful day and was known for frequenting this restaurant. She used to work in American Airlines as a lead flight attendant. She was loved by all and her relatives and friends still recall that she was a lively human being by nature. Her aunt Joan Greener along with her spouse will deliver a speech on the occasion. The memorial had only a handful of people in the first year but this year the number of attendees is expected to cross 100.

The 9/111 memorial for the 9/11 event usually lasts for around half an hour and after that the attendees join a unity breakfast. This event is awaited by the residents of the region.
