81-Year-Old Woman Stung By Yellow Wasps, Now In Critical Condition

waspNov 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) An elderly Florida woman Juanita Foshee, 81, is presently in a critical condition at a hospital after she was stung by more than 1,000 wasps at her backyard. Her family members reported that Juanita Foshee went to her backyard which was full of overgrown bushes and vines and she was watering the hose when the yellow jacket wasps attacked her and stung her. Her family, however, said that she was able to get inside the home and call her son who took her to hospital.

Juanita Foshee’s family said that the dangerous yellow jacket came from an underground nest and stung the 81-year-old woman multiple times. Her son said that his mother was putting ointment on the stings when he arrived home. However, it seems that things took a serious turn after sometime when the poison of the yellow jacket wasps began to take action and she had to be admitted for medical treatment. The medical officials have reported that the elderly lady is in critical condition and presently the doctors have denied to divulge any more details about her treatment.

Her husband Clyde Foshee said that Juanita Foshee’s kidneys and liver were affected because of the poison emitted by the wasps. The 81-year-old woman is presently at Lakeland Regional Medical Center and the doctors are still not sure when she would recover. However, her husband said that Juanita Foshee is a fighter and he feels that his wife would recover soon. Clyde Foshee said not many people could have survived as long as his wife. He said that he cannot understand how his wife made her way back to the home with such pain.
