London, Aug 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 7 year old British artist - Kieron Williamson has just sold $200,000 worth of paintings at a show in an art gallery.

Williamson is so gifted that there are 700 other people waiting outside his exhibition to grab an original painting by him.

Williamson’s recent paintings were featured at the PictureCraft Art Gallery in Norfolk and the 33 paintings were sold in less than 30 minutes. Not only that, some of the buyers actually camped outside the Gallery just to buy some of his paintings. Most of those who camped outside said they wanted to be first to buy the kid’s paintings.

Williamson who has been dubbed “Mini Monet” is believed to be ahead of his years with his style of paintings. The owner of the art Gallery Adrian Hill said that, “Kieron is painting so far in advance of his own years. There are many talented artists out there, but I can’t think of one that’s made such an impact at such a young age.”

What is actually amazing is that he sold all the paintings at the gallery in less than thirty minutes when some experienced talented artists are not able to do so in several times. And fetching $200,000 with 33 paintings is also remarkable for the young prodigy.

It is however hoped that Williamson’s talent is developed further to make him an exceptional artist.
