Casselton, Oct 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Boomer who is Caryn Weber’s dog is 7 feet long from nose to tail is in the news and may be the Guinness book record holder for the longest dog, after Guinness verifies it. The last record holder was a 4-foot-tall Great Dane who died this summer.

Owner Caryn Weber says her 3-year-old Landseer Newfoundland keeps all four paws on the floor when he drinks from the kitchen faucet in her family’s eastern North Dakota farmhouse.

Weber says her 180-pound, furry black and white dog “comes into the house and his tail is so high everything gets knocked around.

While on a drive, Boomer stares into car windows eye to eye with other drivers. The dog’s owner is very anxious as she says that a 20-pound bag of dry dog food lasts the 180-pound canine only for a fortnight.
