New York City, May 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Horse of the Year Zenyatta was the subject on last night’s edition of the CBS hit show “60 Minutes.” The horse is considered one of the most successful on race course in the history of the United States.

The horse has chalked several successes on the race course. The horse is ridden by Mike Smith who is a Hall of Fame jockey. Smith was at CBS’ program and in an interview said Zenyatta was the best horse that he has ever worked with. Smith has worked with several horses having taken part in thousands of races.

Smith was impressed with Zenyatta because the animal is always doing what is required of her. If there is a curiosity about Zenyatta, it has to be with the way that the animal goes about her race. In almost all her races, the animal starts from the back of the back before she gradually warms to the front of the race. Such a start did cost her the trophy during the $5 million 2010 Breeders’ Cup.

Zenyatta had won the race a year before and was hugely favored to win the race again but lost it by inches at the last stretch.
