Illinois, Sep 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A family of five was brutally murdered in their Beason, Illinois, home on September 21, 2009. The victims were identified as Raymond Gee and Ruth Gee, and their children Justina Constant, Dillon Constant and Austin Gee. The sole survivor was their 3-year-old daughter named Tabitha.

Police received an emergency 911 call reporting a possible shooting just before 4:30 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2009. When the police arrived at the scene of crime, then they discovered the bodies.

“This was a brutal homicide against an entire family and we are determined to identify and arrest those responsible,” Logan County Sheriff Steve Nichols said in a news conference.

On Tuesday, September 22, 2009, police urged all the neighbors in that area to use extra caution for their own and their family’s safety, until the killer was identified and arrested.

“Until we find this person, we would consider this person armed and dangerous,” Nichols said. He did not release any further details, and it was not immediately clear if authorities had identified a suspect.

“Leads have been developed and are being vigorously pursued,” he said, without elaborating.

The cause of the brutal murders is still unknown.

The sole survivor, 3 year old Tabitha is recuperating in a hospital in Peoria, Illinois
