Snowdon, Sept 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) For the second time this month, a 4×4 vehicle has been left on Sowdon. It is believed that the abandoned vehicle was the same on that authorities found abandoned at the place on the 3rd of September.

The vehicle is a Vauxhall Frontera and it was found near the summit of the mountain which is the highest point in England. The authorities found the vehicle on Thursday. The police have arrested the owner of the vehicle and he has been given the charge of dangerous driving.

The 39-year-old owner, Craig Anthony Williams, reportedly left a note on the vehicle’s windscreen which claimed that the car is for sale and the proceeds will be used to fund the local mountain rescue team. He is due to appear before the court next week to face the charges.

The local rescue team, Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team, condemned the action of Craig. The secretary of the organization, Ian Henderson, told the Press Association that, “Clearly we are unhappy that a car was driven up Snowdon and it presents all the authorities and those who care about the mountain with a very serious problem - how to remove it safely. Snowdon is a mountain for all of us to enjoy and it is not a playground for motorists.”
