May 19, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): In excess of 44,000 pink baby blankets were recalled by the American government on Tuesday in consequence of choking dangers. It was mentioned that this is an intentional recall and has been released by both, the American Consumer Product Safety Commission and the importers of the blankets, Rashti & Rashti.

These giraffe blankets have balls on top of the giraffe’s horns that can cut off and thereby represent a choking risk for young children. As of now, no wounds have been mentioned due to the possible problem. However, customers are being recommended to return the blanket and to get in touch with Rashti & Rashti for a full reimbursement.

These blankets were vended for approximately $9 each.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has stated that the importer, Rashti & Rashti, is recalling the giraffe blankets, which were created in China.
