maurice Washington DC, Nov 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a very tragic accident, 4 police officers were killed in a Washington state coffee shop on Sunday in the morning at 8am PST.

The suspect who fired at the officers has not been identified as yet but according to witnesses present on the scene, one of the officers was agile enough to fire a round of bullets. So it is being speculated that the suspect might be injured with gunshot wounds.

The incident is sad and tragic and more so for the fact that, this was the first time that any officers died from the Lakewood Police department.

“There is evidence that a Lakewood Police officer fired off some shots, and we hope that he hit him,” a police spokesman said. “If he’s hit, that means that he’s injured somewhere with a gunshot wound.

The investigations were on and then the police identified the thirty-seven year old Maurice Clemmons, as a person of interest in the shooting and it was also revealed that he has a troubled criminal history.

4 police officers were killed in this shoot-out, and all of them were in uniform at that time and were even equipped with their bulletproof vests, but still the bullets proved fatal for them. The officers were identified as Sergeant Mark Renninger, 39; Ronald Owens, 37; Tina Griswald, 40; and Greg Richards, 42.
