223-year-old cognac bought for 19,000 pounds

Breda, Aug 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 223 year old cognac bottle has been purchased by an anonymous collector for a price of £19000. The anonymous collector purchased the bottle from an old liquors store which is owned by Bay Van Der Bunt.

The owner of the old liquor store also revealed that a 182 year old Remy martin was traded for 12900 pound in the same shop. Bay who is based in Breda Netherlands and owns the largest collection of vintage cognacs and rare liquors is estimated to be worth six million pounds. He owns the world’s largest collection of vintage cognacs and rare liquors. The owner of liquor store is now 64 years old and has been collecting liquors for the past 40 years.

The famous owner of the liquor store admitted that not many people understand his passion. He reiterated that his father was skeptical about him collecting liquors and had tried and prevail on him to do something else worthwhile.

However, he didn’t listen and went ahead to pursue his dreams. Bay is pleased that he chose to pursue his dream and prove to everyone that the hobby wasn’t a waste of time. He added that even though collecting the cognacs and liquors was time consuming and costly it has proved to be the best financial investment he ever made.
