2009 Columbus Day closings List

New York, Oct 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) It’s the Columbus Day and a state holiday as well. So here is a list of all the government and other offices that will be closed for the day.
All federal government offices will be closed.
All state offices will be closed.
City offices in New Castle and Parker City will be closed.
County offices and courts in Delaware and Randolph counties and town offices in Daleville, Eaton and Gaston will be closed.
Financial institutions: Old National and Star Financial banks will be closed for Columbus Day.
Ohio E-check will be closed.
All license branches are regularly closed on Mondays.
The post office will be closed. There will be no window service or city or rural delivery. However, Express mail will run as usual.
Trash collection in New Castle will not be done on Monday. Monday and Tuesday’s routes will be picked up on Tuesday. The rest of the week will be on schedule.
Here is a list of offices and services that will be open:-
City offices in Muncie, Hartford City, Montpelier, Dunkirk, Portland and Winchester will be open.
The stock market will be open.
County offices and courts in Blackford, Henry and Jay counties and town halls in Albany and Yorktown will be open.
Trash collection in Muncie and Hartford City and all Best Way of Indiana, Inc. routes will run as usual.

All banks, except for Old National and Star Financial will be open regular hours.
