Seattle, July 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) You might be one among thousands out there who are enjoying the fireworks that have ignited the fervor of patriotism on 4th of July. With the American independence calling for huge celebrations and festivities, these fireworks have become an indispensable component of the occasion.

In Seattle itself, more than 2,000 fireworks shells each of 10-inch-diameter were ordered for Fourth of July celebrations. All of these shells were capable of reaching a height of 1,200 feet when fired and spread as wide as 1,000 feet. Reportedly, these shells made up the special 20 minute show that has long been a tradition observed in Seattle. All credit goes to the pyro-technicians who are the master minds behind the fireworks. The team was led by Jon Berson who happens to be the head pyro-technician from Pyro Spectaculars of California. As a matter of fact, Pyro Spectaculars is the only company which have been been supplying fireworks for the Lake Union show each and every year. This year is the 16th year of their contract which is indeed a great achievement by the company.

Jon Berson told the media that in his career with the company he has staged more than 400 fireworks show. Just a few hours ahead of Fourth of July, Jon Berson was spotted working alongside his team to set things right for the fireworks show. The pyro-technician says that setting up fireworks is never a easy job and one needs to know the basics of shell handling to avoid accidents. Most of the fireworks are manufactured in China and are considered to be dangerous as a warning label is pasted on each one of these shells.
