2 arrested in medical marijuana robbery in Seattle
March 10th, 2011 - 8:37 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattSeattle, Mar 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Two people have been charged with pot robbery in Seattle. Police arrested 21-year-old Justin J. Pasztor but 18-year-old Ryan Lueck who is also connected with the robbery remains at large.
According to the prosecutors, the two met and arranged with a pot seller to buy some quantity from him. The pot seller who is the complainant told the police that he arranges and sells marijuana to people who have medical cards to acquire the drug legally.
It was through the same process that he arranged with the two suspects online with the intention of selling them the drugs. According to the police records, the parties involved agreed to meet at Seventh Avenue Northeast and Northeast 53rd Street on 8 pm on the 4th of February.
The complainant told the police that one of the men pulled a pistol at him when they met and asked him to lie on the ground. His pot and an unspecified amount of money were taken away from him along with his wallet and mobile phone.
Pasztor was the first to be arrested by the police but Lueck is yet to be taken to custody. Pasztor has posted a $150,000 bail bond.
