1994 Cizeta Seized From Orange County

1994-cizetaDec. 08, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The attractive sports car, 1994 Cizeta, which is known to be possessed by very few people has been seized by the law enforcement officials from one of the stores in the Orange County. It has been reported that this rare Italian sports car model has been banned in the country as it can cause several threats related to people’s health.

Reports related to the import of this $700,000 worth Italian car states that the car has remained in the United States for eight years, since 2001. It was brought to the country by Claudio Zampoli, an automotive engineer for some repairing and maintenance works and he was supposed send it back after the job was done. However, Claudio Zampoli and his partner [who had imported this car] failed to quote the appropriate price of the car and so could not export it from the United States. The official reports indicated that the car was supposed to be transported back to Italy in the same year yet the car has remained in the Orange County store named ‘Family Classic Cars’, till it was seized by the officials.

According to the sources, Immigration and Customs Enforcement of the United States has seized this car from the shop as it violated transportation and environment laws of the country. The Italian Sports Car that has been seized from the store is at a government storage presently. Officials stated that the car would be sold if it is forfeited by the federal government. However, if someone purchases the car then he would have to get it exported, as driving a 1994 Cizeta is prohibited in the country.
