May 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jordan Romero became the youngest climber to climb the peak of Mount Everest. The 13-year-old American boy Jordan Romero was able to brave the extreme cold and steep slopes of the Everest to reach the peak on Saturday reportedly. Reports claim that the spokesman for the team of Jordan Romero has revealed to media sources that the team had called from the peak of the Everest using a satellite phone to share the happy news with others.

The news was also confirmed when on Saturday morning the official blog post of Jordan Romero’s team stated that “Their dreams have now come true. Everyone sounded unbelievably happy”. Just before Jordan Romero climbed to the top of the Everest, his proud mother who was tracking her son’s movement by the Live GPS tracker online and revealed to the media source that she was proud of her son. When asked what she would say to her son as he reaches the peak, she replied that it is a very emotional moment in her life and she does not know what she would say.

Jordan Romero got inspired to climb the highest mountains of the world reportedly when he saw the painting of the biggest summits of the seven continents in his school’s hallway. He had previously climbed Mount Kilimanjaro of Africa as a ten year old boy. Reports claim that Jordan Romero was accompanied by his father and three Sherpa guides to the peak. He started climbing the mountain from the Chinese side of the mountain. Achieving the feat, Jordan Romero broke the record of Temba Tsheri of Nepal who climbed the world’s highest peak at the age of 16.
