Long Buckby, Nov 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) New York’s Daily News reported that Maclaren is all set to recall its stroller, after a concern that children’s finger-tips can get cut in it. Stroller maker Maclaren is set to recall 1 million strollers sold since 1999, according to the report. This huge recall move comes after 12 children reportedly had their fingertips amputated by the strollers.
“Parents should stop using these strollers right away,” a source familiar with the recall told the newspaper.
Maclaren, which dubs itself as “a premier British parenting Lifestyle Company that produces the worlds most safe, durable, innovative and stylish baby buggies and strollers,” is contemplating to send stroller owners protective covers for the dangerous hinges, the newspaper reported.
U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, which is all set to announce the recall with Maclaren, did not offer any official statement on this recall, of all strollers sold over a decade from 1999 to 2009.
Here are the affected models:

• Volo

• Triumph

• Quest Sport

• Quest Mod

• Techno XT

• Techno XLR
