policeOklahoma, Apr 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) One man died and atleast five others were injured when a gang opened fire inside a mall in Muskogee. Police officials are still on the lookout for the gang involved in the shootout, so that they may come up with a possible explanation for the shooting which occurred on Saturday afternoon inside the Arrowhead Mall in Muskogee.

A teenager named Jarrod Reed was found dead after he was taken to the Muskogee Regional Medical Center. The other five people injured in the incident are being treated in hospitals in Muskogee and nearby Tulsa, according to police officials.

The city was celebrating the Azalea Festival and thus the mall was packed with visitors. Police officers on the spot say that they are not sure whether Jarrod Reed, the teen who was killed was a normal visitor or was with the gang. As of now they have identified the possible suspects linked in the incident as Daniel Jermaine Anderson, Michael Mayberry, and Anton Nelson. No arrests have been made so far though.

One of the onlookers to this incident, who spoke on conditions of anonymity, said that there were arguments between some people, which finally led to one hitting the other and subsequent gunshots. Police got a call from the mall at around 4:11 pm and immediately arrived on spot. They reported that some among the injured were not involved in the argument which led to the shooting. Shoppers inside the mall were asked to immediately vacate the place as soon as police arrived. There were at least 5 gunshots, said a witness.
