Yoko Ono fan of British band Take That
September 9th, 2009 - 1:31 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )London, Sep 9 (IANS) Yoko Ono, widow of Beatles legend John Lennon, was all praise for the British band Take That as she presented them best band trophy at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.
Thesun.co.uk reports that Ono revealed she is a fan of the band and that their song “Shine” is her favourite. “I love ‘Shine’. I know most of their greatest hits. They’re a great British band.”
Mark Owen of the band said: “It’s amazing that Yoko thinks that about our music. It is an honour to accept an award from her.”
The band members took a three-month break and are recording at studio Two at Abbey Road where the Beatles did most of thier recording.
