Woods’ mother was tense, furious during his apology: Body language experts

New York, Feb 20(ANI): Several body language experts reckon that disgraced American World No.1 golfer Tiger Woods’ mother Kultida Woods had a hard time controlling her emotions while watching his public apology for cheating on his wife.
A famously guarded woman who reportedly dealt with infidelity in her own marriage, Kultida crossed her arms and glowered at the floor as Tiger finally broke his silence on the sex scandal that engulfed him last year.
“She was extraordinarily tense. I would say it was anger,” The New York Daily News quoted Patti Wood, an Atlanta-based body language specialist, as saying.
“Her mouth was downward and pursed very tight, like she was holding back very negative emotions,” she added.
Beverly Hills-based communications expert Lillian Glass said: “The mom was furious. I think she was mad at everything.”
“She not only closed herself off with her arms, but she was digging her fingers into her body. Even when he finished and approached her, she didn’t look at him at first,” Glass added.
Glass said that in Kultida’s Thai culture, saving face is very important.
“She basically lost face. She was clearly heartbroken. She was miserable,” Glass said. (ANI)
