Woman sets car afire trying to warm up engine
November 6th, 2009 - 9:23 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, Nov 6 (IANS) A woman in China made a fire under her car, thinking it would warm up the vehicle’s engine. The car went up in flames, a media report said Friday.
The woman, who thought up the strange idea after her car failed to start, placed wood and newspapers under the vehicle and lit a fire. The incident took place in Tianjin municipality Monday.
Firefighters rushed to the scene and put out the blaze, which completely destroyed the car, the China Daily reported.
