Woman found dead in a ditch in Lymington
November 16th, 2010 - 3:18 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattHampshire, Nov 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 32-year-old woman was found dead in a ditch in Hampshire. The woman was identified as Elizabeth Nielson. The body was found on Friday at about 1:30pm. When the police took the body to the hospital, it was confirmed that she had died.
The police and the paramedics were called to the Undershore Road in Lymington. The police carried the body to the morgue and Elizabeth’s family was contacted in Liverpool where they lived. Initial examination of the body did not reveal any cause of death. The post mortem test was carried out on the body last Saturday.
The police say they have no cause to have any suspicion of the death of Elizabeth. Police say they believe Elizabeth who was shopping died of natural causes after she collapsed while walking near the ditch. However the coroner’s office should be able to come up with the cause of her death so further tests will be needed before the police could close the case.
Her body had been identified by her family and next tests on the body are expected in the few upcoming days. Elizabeth was living with her partner in Lymington.
