New York, Oct 5 (IANS) British actress Kate Winslet is all set to play fashion designer Vivienne Westwood in an upcoming movie based on her life.The film will document the designer’s rise to fame in the 1970s to the present day, reports imdb.com. Winslet will meet the designer once the script has been completed to discuss ideas for the film.

Confirming the casting, a spokesperson for Westwood said: “The script is going well and Kate will play Vivienne. It has been a long time in the planning but we’re very excited that it’s happening.”
