London, March 24 (IANS) Janis, mother of troubled British singer Amy Winehouse, confessed that she was unable to help her daughter because of her illness. Janis suffers from multiple sclerosis and is scared the burden of helping her daughter might make the illness worse.
Thesun.co.uk quoted her as saying: “I just can’t do all that running around to wherever there’s been a problem.”
However, Amy’s father Mitch has at various times tried to help her out.
“He does a great job on behalf of both of us,” added Janis.
