Winehouse upsets her record studioApril 13th, 2009 - 1:19 pm ICT by IANS
London, April 13 (IANS) British singer Amy Winehouse has upset her record company by working with the Gorillaz band instead of her own album.
Her company Universal spent a lot of money on Winehouse to help her ‘focus her mind’. But she instead started working with Gorillaz, reports mirror.co.uk.
She returned to St. Lucia to work on her third album.
A source said: “They were not happy to say the least. They want Amy to get cracking on her new album, but the results have so far not been up to scratch. Imagine how they felt when they realised she had agreed to work with Gorillaz? They couldn’t believe it. It’s an unnecessary distraction. They think she should invest all her energy in her own music. She should be knuckling down and delivering the goods.”
