Wind chimes named Britain’s most-hated garden accessory

The annoying item was followed by caravans parked in the drive. Home owners believe that caravans spoil the street.
Children’s swings, giant trampolines, garden gnomes, hot tubs, water fountains, towing trailers, football posts and hanging baskets were also high on the hate list compiled by market research company www.OnePoll.com, reports The Daily Express.
The survey said: “The hatred of the wind chime is understandable.
“How anyone can gain any joy whatsoever from having a constant tinkling outside their back door is a mystery to me. They can be infuriating for neighbours.
“Caravans made the poll because people said they lowered the tone of the street.” (ANI)
