- Washington, May 19 (ANI): American actor Will Smith has invested more than 1 million dollars in a new school near his California home.
The actor is said to have paid 889,000 dollars just to lease the Indian Hills High School in Calabasas, after he failed to find a suitable institute for his two young children, 9-year-old Jaden and 7-year-old Willow.
Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett had until now been tutoring the two children at home, reports Contactmusic.
According to a spokesperson for the I Am Legend star, the school has been renamed as the New Village Academy of Calabasas.
“Will is leasing the campus for three years, plus he’ll cover all costs such as utilities, the spokesperson said.
“The academy will be run privately, and will include prekindergarten through grade six,” the spokesperson added. (ANI)
