January 17th, 2010 - 2:26 pm ICT by ANINew York, January 17 (ANI): The vegetables that were claimed as coming from Michelle Obama’s garden and used in a special episode of Iron Chef of America based on the White House actually were stunt doubles, it has emerged.
The two-hour exclusive featured White House executive chef Cristeta Comerford and award-winning restaurateur Bobby Flay who competed against Iron Chef regular Mario Batali and celebrity cook Emeril Lagasse.
The chefs were said to have harvested the veggies from the White House garden in a segment taped in late October, reports the New York Post.
