When UK Houses of Parliament ran out of toilet rolls!
December 2nd, 2009 - 5:30 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, December 2 (ANI): British MPs and peers were anything but relieved after the Houses of Parliament fell short of toilet rolls.
KGB Cleaning Suppliers were allegedly held responsible after the word spread that more than 13,300 Parliamentary pass-holders may have to do without the rolls.
“Cleaners have been complaining about a shortage of loo roll for days. It’s all come to a head today. There are loads of toilets without a scrap of paper,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.
Staff at KGB Cleaning’s Westminster office confirmed there had been “issue with supplies”.
An emergency order was later carried out to save the day.
A Commons spokesman said: “I have spoken to the cleaners and there are adequate supplies of toilet paper.” (ANI)
