Aaron Fotheringham, 18, who is known to pals as Wheelz, performed his stunt in Woodward, Pennsylvania, US, after months of painful failed attempts.
“I kept on landing on my head, neck, back or shoulders,” the Sun quoted him as saying.
“I’m covered in bruises and I’ve hurt my wrist but I don’t care. I’m happy to have finally done it,” he stated.
In his latest stunt, he was propelled by bungee cord on to a ramp, and he then used his immense upper body strength to flip twice.
Aaron, who has spent his life in a wheelchair after being born with spina bifida, perfected his skills at a skate park, and at 14 years of age he became the first person to complete a single back flip in a wheelchair.
Two years later he was able to do an amazing six single back flips in succession.
He is currently touring with the US TV show Nitro Circus - and now hopes to perfect front-flips.
“There’s always a new stunt to try out,” he added. (ANI)
